Refunds and disputes
Beatsheaven's refund policy is straightforward and mirrors industry standard.
As a buyer
You can request a refund when:
- The beat failed to download (technical issue)
- The file delivered doesn't match the beat you previewed
- The producer is unreachable and the beat has a fatal quality issue (e.g. clipping, mixed wrong channel)
You cannot get a refund for:
- Changing your mind
- Finding a cheaper beat elsewhere
- Not using the beat
How to request
Email support@beatsheaven.com with your order ID and the reason. We mediate between you and the producer. If the issue is clear-cut, we refund within 5 business days.
As a producer
If a buyer disputes a sale:
- We notify you via /dashboard/sales
- You have 7 days to respond (reply to the support email)
- If we side with the buyer, the refund issues from your next payout (we don't claw back — we net-settle)
Clean rights, clean masters, and responsive messaging = you almost never get disputes.
Chargebacks
If a buyer skips us and files a chargeback with their bank:
- Stripe forwards us the dispute
- We assemble evidence from your beat metadata + license PDF
- Chargeback fees (~$15) are deducted from the producer only if the chargeback rules against us
